Your ResponsibilitiesSurface Preparation &amp; Coating Application<ul><li>Assist with surface preparation activities, including blasting and cleaning steel surfaces. </li><li>Assist with the application of industrial coatings in accordance with company and industry standards. </li><li>Follow project specifications, quality requirements, and inspection procedures. </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and production records. </li></ul>General Labor &amp; Material Handling<ul><li>Load, unload, move, and organize steel materials throughout the facility. </li><li>Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely. </li><li>Assist with staging materials for production and shipment. </li><li>Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment. </li><li>Assist other departments as needed to support production schedules. </li></ul>Safety &amp; Quality<ul><li>Follow all company safety policies and procedures. </li><li>Wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary. </li><li>Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and training. </li><li>Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or quality deficiencies promptly. </li></ul>Team Collaboration<ul><li>Work closely with the Production Manager and production team to meet customer deadlines. </li><li>Support company goals related to safety, quality, and productivity. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> QualificationsRequired<ul><li>Strong communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly. </li><li>Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. </li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical labor for extended periods. </li><li>Legal eligibility to work in the United States. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. </li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Forklift certification (or ability to obtain). </li><li>Experience in industrial painting, coating application, sandblasting, or surface preparation. </li><li>Experience in steel fabrication, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments. </li><li>Familiarity with safety programs and quality standards. </li></ul> Pay &amp; BenefitsWe know the right person brings value to our team, so here's how we invest in our employees:<ul><li>Competitive hourly pay of $20-$26 (based on experience). </li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance. </li><li>401(k) with employer match. </li><li>Paid training and certification opportunities. </li><li>Stable, year-round work. </li><li>Advancement opportunities within High Plains Steel Services. </li><li>Strong safety culture and team environment. </li></ul>If you're dependable, hardworking, and ready to build a career with High Plains Steel Services, APPLY TODAY.
