Please don't apply if you:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Ignore safety protocols or rush through work without attention to detail.</li><li>Struggle with record-keeping or staying organized.</li><li>Resist team collaboration and don't communicate clearly.</li><li>Dislike physical work in outdoor conditions.</li></ul><h2>Who We're Looking For</h2><h2><br></h2><p>Here's who will succeed as our next Material Handler:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Detail-Oriented: You take pride in knowing that every load, every record, and every movement matters.</li><li>Safety-Focused: You don't cut corners when it comes to protecting yourself and your team.</li><li>Proactive &amp; Organized: You stay ahead of schedule and keep the yard running smoothly.</li><li>Reliable &amp; Punctual: You understand that the whole team counts on you to keep materials flowing.</li><li>Comfortable with Heavy Lifting &amp; Outdoor Work: You're committed to the philosophy that steel doesn't move itself,</li><li>and the work happens rain or shine.</li></ul><h2>Your Responsibilities</h2><h2><br></h2><ul><li>Material Handling &amp; Inventory Management: Unload, organize, and track materials using Tekla EPM GO.</li><li>Safety &amp; Equipment Inspections: Conduct daily equipment checks and report any issues.</li><li>Loading &amp; Unloading: Secure materials for transport and prevent damage.</li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with the Yard Foreman and Fabrication Foreman to keep production moving.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Compliance: Maintain accurate records of materials, inspections, and inventory.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><h2><br></h2><ul><li>Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain).</li><li>Safety Compliance Training: We take this seriously.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly.</li><li>Familiarity with Tekla EPM GO (preferred, but not required).</li><li>Legally eligible to work in the United States.</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills.</li></ul><h2>Fit For Duty</h2><h2><br></h2><p>The work is stressful, strenuous, and dangerous, and will include performing tasks in a combination of shop and outdoor working environments.
