Every measurement, every weld, every cut counts.</li><li>Safety-Focused We take safety seriously, and so should you.</li><li>Reliable &amp; Punctual Your team counts on you to show up and give your best.</li><li>Problem-Solver You can troubleshoot and adapt when challenges arise.</li><li>Team Player Communication and collaboration are key to success here.</li></ul><h2>What You'll Be Doing as Our Fitter/Welder</h2> <ul><li>Fitting &amp; Welding Interpret blueprints, align steel components, and perform GMAW and FCAW welding to specifications.</li><li>Quality Assurance Ensure all assemblies meet AWS D1.1 and AISC standards.</li><li>Safety &amp; Equipment Inspections Conduct pre-shift checks and follow all safety protocols.</li><li>Team Collaboration Work closely with Foremen and Inspectors to keep production moving.</li><li>Tool &amp; Equipment Maintenance Use Tekla EPM GO software to maintain tools and organize workspaces.</li><li>Adaptability Work in shop, yard, and outdoor environments in all weather conditions.</li></ul><h2>Fit For Duty</h2> The work is stressful, strenuous, and dangerous, and will include performing tasks in a combination of shop and outdoor working environments. The work involves climbing, bending, sitting, standing, crouching, heavy lifting up to 60 lbs on a frequent basis, and being on your feet for up to 12-hours per day. Additionally, you will often be in a noisy and dirty environment due to materials and machinery.
